Before taking any quantity from the original drum, it should be heated at about +30°/+35°C and stirred till fluidity and transparency is completely restored. Release PP 25 R tends to become first an opaque liquid, then a gel and finally a solid at temperatures below +10°C. Although its diluted solutions are stable at room temperatures, they have to be well stirred before the final coating on the films.
RELEASE PP 25 R can be used on corona-treated as well as on untreated PP.
In the former case, add minimum 30 parts of toluene per each part of RELEASE PP 25 R.
In the common situation of coating on untreated PP, 1 kg of RELEASE PP 25 R must be diluted with approx 80 kg of toluene (final TS approx 0.3%).
For RPVC and PES films, intermediate dilutions (1 to 50-60) are used.
Coat 3-5 g (wet)/m² with gravure cylinder or mayer bar, dry it perfectly before winding the adhesive tape.
The product is supplied in iron drums (50 kg).
The product must be stored at temperatures higher than +10°C. Keep away from direct sunlight. Keep containers tightly closed to prevent solvent evaporation. RELEASE PP 25 R has a high melting point and high concentration. In case of partial or total solidification, store the product in a heated place and stir till the product become fluid.
Use within 12 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
As it contains a flammable and dangerous solvent (xylene), handle the product with caution.
