CURING AGENT W40 is a cross-linking agent (water dispersion of aliphatic carbodiimide), for water based polymers with carboxylic groups.
When CURING AGENT W40 is added to aqueous binders (acrylic or SBR latex), consistently improves their cohesion and moisture resistance. Where added to textile finishing agents, it will remarkably improve the resistance to washing and abrasion.

CURING AGENT W40 can be added directly to the dispersion by stiring. Suggested quantities are between the 5 and 10%, to be determinate by preliminary tests.
The polymer must have carboxylic groups. Crosslinking starts after water evaporation.
The product is supplied in plastic tanks (10 kg).
CURING AGENT W40 must be stored at temperatures between 5° and 35°C.
Protect from freeze.
Use within 6 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
