RELEASE WR 3003 is a special water based release coating developed for Pressure Sensitive Adhesive tapes to provide controlled release effect with improved drying (higher total solids and lower cosolvent content).
RELEASE WR 3003 adheres well to treated polyolefins and masking paper. It provides excellent release on coextruded films or hot-melt coated polyolefines/PET.

RELEASE WR 3003 can be used by simple dilution with deionized water to a total solids concentration of 1 - 1,5%, applying by Meyer Bar or Gravure rolls 4 - 5 g/sqm on corona treated polyolefin (approx. 35 dyne/cm).
Release action is developed by evaporation of the water at 80 - 100°C, depending upon web speed and oven efficiency. No curing mechanism is involved.
This product may also be used to modify waterborne ink having good gloss, release power and a low coefficient of friction.
It is suggested to stir before use.
The product is supplied in plastic drums (50 kg); plastic drums (120 kg).
Product must be stored at temperatures between +5 and +35°C.
Use within 9 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
