Description
COLOR TAPE HM AVANA 5 P2 is a highly efficient avana-colored pigment masterbatch in granule form, designed to color both solvent-based and hot-melt adhesive compounds. Because it flows very well, it is suitable for continuous-feed systems.
The addition of COLOR TAPE HM AVANA 5 P2 to the adhesive does not alter its properties, including ageing resistance, and does not cause corrosion to the metal parts of the coating equipment.
APPEARANCE: small granules.
PIGMENT TYPE: inorganic (metal oxides).
PIGMENT CONTENT: minimum 80%
OTHER RAW MATERIALS: dispersing agents, antioxidants, thermoplastic resins as binders.
Application
COLOR TAPE HM AVANA 5 P2 is very easy to handle, dust-free, and poses no problems regarding storage or disposal of the packaging.
Since it's in granule form and it's made from non-toxic materials, it is very safe and clean to handle (see the Safety Data Sheet). Its physical form allows for complete use of the material without leaving any residue in the empty containers.

Handling
In general, we recommend adding 5–8% of the adhesive’s dry content (approximately 50–60% of a standard pigmented paste).
COLOR TAPE HM AVANA 5 P2 can be added directly to the mixer at any stage of the adhesive preparation process. COLOR TAPE HM AVANA 5 P2 should be used in the same way as a solid resin.
Packaging
The product is supplied in paper bag (20 kg).
Storing
It is recommended to keep the product away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Use within 12 months of the date of manufacture (unopened and in original packaging).
