PRIMER EPA W5 is a water-borne emulsion of synthetic polymers, which enhances the adherence of acrylic waterborne adhesives to polyolefinic films.
PRIMER EPA W5 can be used as primer for corona treated PP and PE films. It prevents adhesive transfer after the Printing.

PRIMER EPA W5 can be diluted with water and in some cases (depending upon the application method) thickened with polyacrylic thickening agents and ammonia.
Apply approx. 1 ÷ 1.5 g dry/sqm on corona treated films; standard coating methods (Mayer-bar, rotogravure, air knife, ...) are recommended.
The product is supplied in plastic drums (50 kg); iron drums (150 kg); IBC containers (1000 kg).
Containers must be kept tightly sealed and protected from frost, heat and direct sunlight.
PRIMER EPA W5 must not be allowed to come into contact with metals or alloys that are susceptible to corrosion.
Product must be stored at temperatures between +5°C and +40°C.
Use within 9 months from production date (unopened and in the original packaging).
Stir well before use.
